Virginie and her team welcome you to their bakery/pastry shop in the centre of the village. At the heart of this bakery-pastry shop, you can discover not only the delicious home-made pastries from Les Douceurs d'Apremont, but also a range of exceptional bakery products. These unique creations include the famous tourte auvergnate, the famous pavé d'Arthur and the traditional pain alouette, all made with the same dedication to quality and authentic taste. What's more, the bakery has just won a silver medal in the departmental competition for its préfou. A friendly place in the heart of the village
In the central square of the pretty little village of Maché, you'll find the friendly team at Au Vie'Rage Bar & Food. This friendly, recently refurbished venue boasts a large terrace at the front, as well as an area at the back sheltered from the wind, perfect for relaxing in peace and quiet.
At the rear, you can also enjoy a boules and shuffleboard court, ideal for a good time with friends or family.
Au Vie'Rage Bar & Food serves takeaway and sit-down meals at lunchtime on Thursdays and Fridays, and in the evenings on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. You'll also find La Française des Jeux and a cigarette and smokers' supplies service.

Fishing on the lake 2 minutes from the campsite
This exceptional site is just 2 minutes from the Val de Vie campsite, one of the department's top fishing spots. It's very easy to get to, and you'll have a great time fishing by boat, float-tube or from the shore.
The diversity of fishing spots, the wealth of fish and the lake's large surface area mean that many different types of fishing are practised here.
There are ruins at the bottom of the lake, as well as pools where fish can live.
A ramp is provided to lower boats(motorised prohibited). The campsite is located almost on the edge of the lake.

The main events at Maché 2025
Mâché's festivities committee and associations are very dynamic, offering a wide range of events and festivities!
In chronological order:
- Motocross de Maché on Sunday 13 April at La Sigonière
- Music festival on Friday 20 June in the town centre
- Quail Festival Sunday 27 July at the Water Mill
- Lake Festival on Friday 15 August at the Water Mill, with fireworks to close the event
