If the Val de Vie is known for its nature, it is also for fishing that travelers come to spend a few days here. Our small 3 star campsite is located in the heart of a preserved nature. Fans of wide open spaces and greenery will feel at home here. But those who will love our location are first of all the fishing lovers. We are only a few minutes away from the town of Apremont (two minutes on foot to be precise). And who says Apremont, says Lake Apremont. This last one is a high place of fishing in Vendée.

The Lake of Apremont is a place of relaxation, a haven of peace where the sweetness of life rhymes with calm and tranquility. With an area of 1.67 km², you can practice many activities, but it offers excellent fishing conditions.

What better way to take time for yourself than to practice this relaxing activity?
Fishing is often said to be the ideal way to relieve stress. This outdoor activity offers a lot of benefits. As an angler you have to be able to sit still for long minutes before something happens, so it’s a good time to relax. Escape, make room for your emotions and leave your daily concerns behind. Fishing with a rod on the bank or on a boat, everything is possible.
On the lake of Apremont, you will find many species. You can fish for roach, zander, black bass or carp. Feel free to take a picture of yourself proudly with your booty!

Fishing on foot

The campsite is close to the beaches of the Vendée and you can go fishing on foot. Many spots are suitable for this activity. The beaches of Boisvinet and Pelle à Porteau in Saint Gilles Croix de Vie. At low tide the rocks are uncovered and give way to shrimps, periwinkles and many other shellfish.
In Saint Jean de Monts, the large beach will allow you to fish for clams, mussels, oysters and pine nuts.

Fishing at sea

During your stay at our campsite, try your hand at sea fishing.
Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, seaside resort known for its pretty fishing port. Many boats go out to sea every day. Some sailors propose you to go with them to discover their job, but also to enjoy a nice ride.
